Responsible for the installation & commissioning of a 3 Bay, ll5KvSwitchyard, HV-MV Transformers, MV Substation and ancillary equipment, two MV Emergency Diesel Generators, Lighting & Small Power,; HVA C, and cabling & support systems. Responsibilities include the establishment of the QA and documentation system to J509002, creating Inspection and Test Plans to 1S09002, establishing Site infrastructure, organising and scheduling of electrical & mechanical teams to work within the time schedule, organising of all Plant and took, ordering of material from site, Client Liaison, raising and handling of all Engineering Queries, RFI's, Variation Orders, additional work and Free Issue equipment, weekly progress reports and 'S' curves for invoicing of monthly progress payments, document control and all Site administration. Duties also include overall responsibility for the implementation / upholding of strict Safety Codes, and QA/QC procedures on Site. After completion of the installation, I led the commissioning of the equipment’s in conjunction with Groupe Schneider /Merlin Germ.
February 1997-August 1997:

Responsible for the Commissioning of all Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear up to 36KV including Gas Insulated (GIS), and Air Insulated Switchgears. With a team of 15 Thai Engineers working for me, to cover jobs in all Provinces in Thailand, and train the junior Engineers on the correct use, functioning / programming & testing of Siemens Digital Protection Relays and Communication Software. Duties also include the selection and purchasing of new test equipment, and the scheduling / maintenance of a wide range of existing equipment, cost control of jobs, Customer liaison, invoicing of Customers, Engineering of design changes to electrical drawings.
The most recent jobs have been the Metropolitan Electrical Authority (MEA) 24KV GIS Substations within the Bangkok area, and the Provincial Electrical Authority (PEA) 24KV GIS Mobile Container Substations.
1990 - February 1997:
Electrical Test/Commissioning Engineer.

Responsible for fully testing of Switchgear, Motor Control Centres, and Instrumentation panel to procedures demanded by B55750. Carrying out Factory Acceptance Tests for the end clients. On site commissioning of all Switchboards and Protection Relays, and interfacing complex control circuitry with other systems and field equipment. The most notable contracts are as follows.
November - December 1990- B. 0. C Cryoplants - Jakarta, Indonesia Rebuilt, tested, and commissioned Switchboards and MCC '5 which were extensively damaged in shipping.
March 1992 - Ciba Geigy - Baal, Switzerland Development testing of new software and hardware for a Plant to DCS control and monitoring system.
March - July 1992- McDermott Engineering - Dubai, UAE After major modification work the Switchboards for the Iranian Offshore Oil Co.'s Salman Project Oil & Gas Platforms were precommissioned onshore in dry dock. Commissioning of the Platforms in the Persian Gulf required extended periods offshore to meet the tight schedule.
January - February 1993- Amoco - Offshore North Sea Commissioning of the Switchgear and MCC for the North Everest & Lomond Gas Platforms was undertaken after earlier onshore pre- commissioning in difficult winter conditions
April - August 1993 - Foster Wheeler Pacific - Thailand: Working in close co-operation with the site Contractor, was responsible for the testing and commissioning of Switchgear & MCC for the Esso Refinery Sriracha Expansion Project to their existing installation to double the capacity.
December 1993- January 1994 - Toyo Thai Corp. - Thailand: Commissioning of LV Switchgear and MCC at a remote oil road & rail loading terminal
March - May 1994 - JGC - Singapore Commissioning of LV Switchgear & MCC for the Singapore Refining Co. and assisted the main Electrical Contractor with commissioning of 3.3KV & 11KV Switchgear and protection relays
July - September 1994 - Aker Eng. - Singapore: Extensive modifications to the Switchboards and pre- commissioning of the White Tiger Water Injection Modules for the joint Vietnamese/Soviet venture to update their existing platorms
October 1994 - February 1995- Vietsovpetro - Vietnam Supervision of Vietnamese and Russian personnel during the electrical hook-up of two Water Injection Modules to the main platforms in the White Tiger Field. The subsequent testing and commissioning required extensive involvement with the DCS/ESD and Process Control Systems to successfully complete the project.
February - June 1995- TRC - Thailand This joint Asia Badger/Fluor Daniel venture to build a new Refinery for Rayong Refining Co. involved extensive Motor Protection Relay involvement to programme the over 1000 electronic Relays with the required setpoints.
June 1995 - July 1996 - JGC - Thailand Testing & commissioning of 80 Switchgear/MCC panels for the Caltex Star Refinery Project and supervision of the site Contractor during the installation of the boards Instruction / supervision and co-ordination of multiple Sub- Contractor relay testing teams working in parallel required a highly organised approach to meet the requirements of the Start-up team.
July 1996 - October 1996 - JGC - Thailand Extensive electrical modifications preceded the testing and commissioning of the 'Intelligent Motor Control Centres' and Switchgear Distribution for the Thai Lube Base Oil plant at Sriracha. Supervision of several ABB testing crews, and Customer training were all conducted inside a tight schedule.
October 1996 - November 1996 - Foster Wheeler - Configuration Programme of the DCS interfacing computer panels on the Singapore Aromatics Company (SAC) site, to individual motors. Singapore: Modifications to the for all the Motor Control Starter enable monitoring and control of
October 1996 - February 1997 - Siemens Ltd - Thailand The supply of the MV-LV Package Distribution Substations, MCC, and Distribution Boards on behalf of Siemens Ltd led to the testing and commissioning of the 25 Transformer Switchboards for the SubMicron Technology Wafer Fab plant in Chachoengsao.
