Supervised 13 reservoir and production engineers and a support staff of 5 in the Gulf of Mexico Region which included all domestic offshore operations and the onshore properties in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Reviewed & approved all workover and infill drilling proposals and procedures from field engineer. Introduced gas lift operations into the Gulf of Mexico in both vertical and directional wells around salt domes, including the recommending the required gas compressors. Evaluated all new well logs and recommended completion intervals and stimulation proposals. Recommended modifying platform production equipment to handle increasing water production and disposal on existing fields. Combined reservoir engineering and production operations responsibility for production of over 300 MMCFPD and 120,000 BOPD from over 300 offshore and onshore wells on 28 platforms in 16 fields Assisted the drilling department by personally assuming on-site drilling supervision of a difficult high-pressure 22,000-ft gas-condensate offshore exploratory well MMS certified for surface and sub-surface stacks.
ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR
Supervised 7 production engineers and 3 support staff in the eastern and central offshore areas of the Gulf of Mexico Region and the inland swamps of Louisian. Similar responsibilities as above with additional engineer training responsibilities and on-site supervision on new or complicated well operation. Performed economic evaluations and partner justifications on all group generated proposals.
SENIOR PETROLEUM ENGINEER
Joint venture operations engineer for the Gulf of Mexico projects based out of the corporate headquarter. Negotiated with partners and approved AFEs on all operational and commercial matters involving non-operated fields. Received drilling, operational, and production reports from all regional company offices and from all partners worldwide and reported this information to company management on a daily basis, including weekends and holidays. Was responsible for insuring the correctness of all incoming reports and answering any management inquiries on ongoing worldwide operation.

DRILLING ENGINEER
Responsible for drilling and completion operations for air drilling and special mud drilling applications in Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas and Arkansas Initiated drilling rig contracts, supervised on-site drilling, completion, & stimulation operations. Wrote AFE's, cost estimates, drilling programs, casing designs, and completion proposals for designated areas while in the regional office. Responsible for everything from initial well site survey to turning over productive wells to the production department to abandoning well and final drill site clean-up. Personally drilled over twenty wells in Oklahoma and Texas.
RESERVOIR ENGINEER
Wrote and documented new reservoir engineering and core analysis computer programs for company wide applications. Ran complex models for district and regional office.
