Review current status of both Engineering and Procurement for the Project (1.8 Million Barrels, Laminaria FPSO), prepare a revised detailed Level 3 control schedule (Primavera P3) incorporating the physical status and all change orders. This was part of the integrated schedule and network for the EPC contract. Assist the cost engineer in the revised control budget. Revise the drawing and document register used at level 5 to ensure all were identified and entered for the basis of scope. Review and advise on actions required for recovery on procurement schedules from the contractors, to meet delivery at site for the on site required dates. Prepare scenarios to show the impact of Design Change Notices to the completion of the Project. Revise Work Breakdown Structure.

Responsible for all Project Controls and support to the Project Director's for the co-ordination and development of bids for Wafer Fab Projects (23 - 441 Million US$ UMC "B,C & D", TSMC 'Tab 3, 4 & 5", & Vanguard "lB" Taiwan, ICT Fab Malaysia). Prepare the Master Control Schedule for each. Negotiate with all clients the scope, unit prices/lump sums and Milestones. All contracts were EPIC from Clean Room's (Class 01, 10, 100 & 1000) through to Turnkey Project Management, from concept through to Start Up of total facilities and infrastructure.

Manage all Cost, Planning & Document Control Dept's. Develop of the detailed budget/cost allocations, control schedules (Primavera P3). Develop and implemented procedures for Cost, Planning and Document Control for compliance with the contract and also for our own internal controls. Review and revise all reports, evaluate/amend and take any necessary actions required. Prepare and negotiate any variations relating to the client. Develop procedure's for Amerada Hess to Control Budgets and Schedules for all Ad Hoc and Major Works on the Scott Platform. The pflrnary system used was Artemis 7000/mt-Plan and PM3. Revise the Work & Cost Breakdown structures for the detail and the AFE Budgets. Input data and oversee AHL planners on the use of both mt-Plan and PM3 in line with the procedures. Implement budgets & detailed schedules along with the reports necessary for Management, to monitor and take any actions if required to maintain or recover schedule/cost impacts. Prepare procedure for control of subcontractors.

Responsible for preparing revised Level 3 network & Master Control Schedule (42", 40" Pipelines, Receiving Facilities and Metering Station, 2.2 Million Man-Hours) for the remaining scope and variations to the Project. Supervise three Planning Engineers in the development and updates of all detailed schedules (Artemis 7000) for the overall Project. Liase with Sub Contractors Planning Engineers, for establishing their schedules and reports required to control their own scope. Validate all schedules upon submission for baseline, approve all subsequent progress/updates. Prepare Trend and forecast reports, Weekly and Monthly reports for Management.

Engaged to develop and update detailed networks, schedule⁹s (Open Plan) & estimate for the upgrade, installation and commissioning of systems (F & G, D.C.S., E.S.D., P.C.M.S. & Metering) in the Central Control Room and facilities. Co-ordinate with Contractors & other Planners to prepare scope & work packs . Monitor progress of deliveries of all equipment and mobilisation of vendors. Progress all work, updating schedules, prepare reports for co-ordinators and management.

In charge of the Co-ordination and Planning of all the aspects of the Project from manpower (1,200), equipment, materials, change orders and scope, which was for the construction of well heads, flowlines, gathering stations, 12" pipelines to the terminal, control room ,sub-station, process facilities, tank farm, gas compression units, and all other buildings covering all disciplines. Installation of 24" & 30" pipelines for Oil & Gas to the refinery. Supervise five planning engineers in the preparation of all networks, schedules, estimates (6 Million man-hours). Carry out physical progress and supervise updates, trends, forecast and reports controlled by computerised system (Artemis 2000) for the project. Daily co-ordination meetings with management and supervisors.

Engaged by the Project Management to review all schedules (Artemis 2000), man-hour estimates and procedures for Planning and Department. Co-ordinate and verify the development of all revised programmes, for all plant units erection, equipment installation and commissioning (32.3 million man- hours) ensuring that all Planners were responsible for their own plant units/areas. Discuss the programmes with all fifteen subcontractors on the mobilisation of their manpower requirements and priorities of work in each plant unit. Involved in negotiating scope change orders submitted by contractors. Prepare reports for Management and clients on the revision to all scope, estimate and schedules.

Develop and update all programmes (Open Plan) and man-hour estimates and budgets for future and present work scopes for the Aberdeen Engineering Group. For both Grangemouth Refinery (Kinneil) for the expansion of the gas process facilities for the increased throughput from other platforms coming on-line. All the modifications and new phases of construction on the Magnus platform. On receipt of work packs, prepare estimates and networks/schedules for all projects. Liase with contractors during design and procurement of all work.

Prepare networks and schedules for the Corrosion Under Insulation project for areas of priority for inspection and repair on the Ninian and Brent systems covering stabilisation, compression, drying, refrigeration, fractionation. All networks and data for input to Artemis for schedules, histograms for supervision and management. Weekly measurement of all work carried out by contractors in each area of work in progress, tabulate productivity, 'S' curves, update schedules/programmes, prepare reports for both management and terminal partners.

Preparation of level 3, 2 and 1 Schedules (Artemis 9000) for installation of new flowlines/well heads and other equipment in the South of Oman for P.D.O. Co-ordinate all supervisors on various sites for their daily and weekly programmes/schedules, also covering Civil and Electrical (H.V./LV.) subcontractors. Liase daily with the client on all aspects to both progress and technical queries. Weekly measure and update schedules, including subcontractors and reports for the client.

Marathon Brae 'B' Project for the following structures, flare jacket, infill leg panels, flare bridge and tower. Revise contract C.M. S. and C .M.B. by developing new networks (Artemis 9000) for revised schedules and histograms for all levels, 1 to 3, to be issued as a complete package to Marathon Management. Prepare programmes for the construction yard profit centres and subcontractors.

Reporting to the Construction Manager (Fixed Facilities) during the construction and hook-up of the KAKAP KH installation, covering three sites on Batam Island for the construction of the four-pile jacket, wellhead and production facilities, flare tripod jacket with tower and bridge, single buoy mooring/sub-sea system. Daily monitoring of site activities, highlighting delays and advising recovery actions. Carry out weekly measure with the contractors. Prepare all reports for Management and Partners.

Collation of all estimates to prepare levels 1 and 3 networks on the hook-up and commissioning of the facilities for the Rough Storage Project. Allocating task sheets into their work packs. Co-ordinate and collect all daily and weekly progress for all disciplines and phases, input to Artemis 9000, generating all schedules and reports, tabulations, 'S' curves and forecasts for Supervisors, OIM and Base Management.

Preparing the project networks for the pre-commissioning and commissioning of satellites (2) and wellhead platforms (33). Commit the network to Projacs (IBM) computer system. Barcharts and 'S' curves therewith.

In charge of Planning, Cost/Estimating for E.P.I.C. on various projects, refinery and oil producing offshore platforms. Input of programmes on Proj acs and Artemis 9000. Material take-off and prepare B.O.M.'s and cost estimate. Co-ordinate subcontractors.

Prepare schedules for contract tender, networks, field programmes, 3 Week look-ahead's and Histograms for both platforms, weekly update and re-schedule. Trend reports actual cost budget and forecasts.

Part of team preparing new and revising PPM schedules for the all three Ninian Field platforms. Including identification of spare parts to carry out schedules.

Development and revision of maintenance schedules for equipment on the Forties Field. Update and revisions to W.I.N. register for all equipment installed or held in stock.

Prepare and implement PPM schedules for mechanical, rotary and H & V equipment. Designed system for filing of all maintenance records (PPM schedules, breakdown, Man-hours, Cost & Spares).

Beryl "A" Scheduling of all planned preventive maintenance and breakdown activities. Write and update new maintenance schedules. Raise work orders for vendors and contractors including all spare parts.
