Surface Production Operations:

• Involved in design I construction, commissioning and start up of oil & gas process facilities, both onshore and offshore.

• Operated fields with: Electrical submersible Pumps, Gas I Plunger lift, Beam pumps, Positive Cavity Pumps, Water-injection. Conducted the optimisation of process facilities. Managed as OIM the operations of an FPSO.

Well Services Operations:

• Responsible for the preparation of programs and the execution of all well testing, well completion, stimulation and wireline activities on 5 drilling rigs and 2 work over rigs, both offshore and onshore.
• Established well head maintenance section and upgrading program for an onshore field comprising of 500 oil and gas wells
• Conducted a beam pump and gas lift optimisation program. Optimised the utilisation of the work over hoists.
• Improved the completion programs, resulting in a reduction of rig time.

Integrated Production Operations, Planning & Programming, Projects:

• Field Operations Manager, both offshore and onshore, and as such responsible for all production, maintenance and logistic activities.
• Project leader for the conversion of an FSO, resulting in a net saving of 18 MM US$ over the life of the PSC.
• Conducted HAZOP studies and prepared Operating budgets, Operating Philosophies, Operating Procedures and Personnel Development programs.
• Established the monthly reporting system for the Operating Department and introduced performance indicators.
