| Description |
We require qualified and experienced Oil and Gas Firefighters; to join the
Alba Firefighting Team; we are forming to tackle Oil and Gas Blowouts, Worldwide.
Duties All the duties of a Oil and Gas Firefighter, working on "Blowouts" in remote and dangerous locations.
We require qualified and experienced personnel; from the following backgrounds to form the firefighting teams:
Drilling engineers
Mechanical Engineers
Firefighters
Well Service Personnel
Petroleum Engineers
All applicants must have at least 20 years experience in the Oil Patch; with practical experience of Oil fires.
Remuneration Negotiable
Terms and Conditions Approved Alba Firefighters will be issued with a proforma Alba Firefighters "Call Up" contract which will include a fixed call up fee, which will be paid, if the job lasts one day or one month; and an agreed daily rate thereafter.
We envisage ten firefighters per team; which will be drawn from the Approved Alba Firefighters pool of approx 40.
When we receive a call for assistance ; we shall investigate throughly the situation; negotiate with the client; and only after agreed terms and conditions with them, will we then form the team from the approved Alba Firefighters pool; depending on who is available etc and then move!
Additional Notes Background
Since our involvement in the Kuwait Oil Fires; see website http://www.alba.net ; we have had a number of requests for assistance in "Blowouts" this year from, :Russia : Kazakstan and Uzbekstan. We expect further requests for assistance in the future; and are now forming Alba Firefighters on a "Call Up" contract basis; for each "Blowout" situation.
